Tyrenwhit Pty Ltd is based in Gympie and supplies haulage and earthmoving equipment as well as quarry products throughout Queensland and northern New South Wales.
Managing Director Tony Corbet worked alongside his father Greg - who has operated separate transport and landscape companies since 1980 - until founding Tyrenwhit in 2004. The team have since developed the company to now deliver a range of services to the construction and quarrying industries in the private and government sectors.
Tyrewhit started operating quarries in 2007 when it supplied and delivered thousands of cubic meters of quality fill material to Bruce Highway upgrades through Gympie.
We then followed work out to the gas fields in Western Queensland and refined our knowledge of quarry operations to supply and transport over 400,000t of material to various jobs from a number of pits that we developed.
2014 we opened a sand and gravel quarry on the north side of Gympie from which we supply and deliver quality products to plumbers and landscape yards around Gympie and the Sunshine Coast.
We have also supplied to various construction jobs in the area from the quarry, including the United Service Station at Gunalda and sewer upgrades and extensions for Gympie Regional Council.
In 2016 we began R&D on decorative concrete panels for fences and retaining walls and this revolutionary new "pre-fab tilt-panel fence" is now in full production.
